Past Projects at The Trinity Centre

Saturday Club

The scheme was run by fully qualified and trained staff offering a safe play and learning environment to children of all abilities.

The activities included sensory play sessions and regular learning excursions. The scheme for 4 – 11 year olds, ran the second Saturday of each month, between 10am and 1pm.

Youth Projects

“The Beechwood”

The youth club for Hackney teens.
By teens 4 teens.
7pm – 11pm first Friday each month.

For 14 to 18 year olds interested in the event and entertainment industry and wanting to learn all aspects of events and venue management.

Girls 2 Women

To be involved in supporting the production and promotion of a range of events throughout the year at the Centre, locally, regionally and other parts of the Country such as Reading, Nottingham etc whilst developing event production, business and personal skills.

Boys 2 Men

Ran by the Trinity Centre Youth Group for young people to take part in their new project:

Duke of Edinburgh Award Support Programme

The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme is a programme of activities for young people aged between 14 and 24. There are 3 levels of awards available - Bronze, Silver and Gold. Young people achieve the awards by completing a personal programme of activities in 4 areas (5 for the Gold Award):

The Centre's youth programme gave young people the opportunity to complete all of the areas of the award.

Family Development

Regular weekend activities for the family hosted at the Centre that included family outings, social events and learning opportunities.

A series of community activities held at the Centre including:

Clowns International Reception and Show

• February 2014

• The clown show takes place from 5pm after the annual clown’s service in the Trinity Centre main Hall.

• No booking necessary but this free family event is very popular, each year the crowds are bigger and bigger so early attendance is essential to secure a good vantage point.
